We ended up with about 10" of very wet snow. This is just the beginning of our clean up. There was more damage with this storm (for us) than with any other one in the 15 years we've lived here. Never ending...

Trying to get as many leaves up as possible (look how many are still on the trees) before the snow flies. Working together gets the job done much faster. The boys had the whole backyard done in an hour.

All I can say is YUM! Taste just like pumpkin pie...wonder which has less calories? Plain or with graham crackers crumbled on top, it is sooo gooood! This is made right here in Manchester, which they still offer in 1/2 gallon containers.

Made chicken pot pie for the first time in over 15 years. It was pretty good, though next time I'll make a little more gravy.

Mark tried to cut the lawn but there were too many leaves, so he had to blow the leaves into the woods before hand.

Bought my pumpkins at Hannafords this year...under 8 dollars for both of them and they're pretty big. Sad thing is the kids didn't even mind that we didn't go to the farm.

Took Shelby to Nightmare New England...the "Lions Club version". It was a kid friendly lights on tour of 2 of the haunted attractions for kids up to 13. Shelby is not the type of kid to be too scared but we both agreed that this was too "friendly". Oh well, the money went for a good cause.

Annual fire truck parade. This was the smallest it has ever been (damn economy!). Fire trucks from the surrounding towns come to our little town and drive through the neighborhoods at about 35 mph blowing horns, sirens and flashing lights.

Kitty wanted out on the porch. He jumped up on the stool and was putting his paw on the knob. Now if he could only figure out how to turn it.

Spent the day at Hampton Beach. Yes! They're in the ocean in October in New England. It was over 80* Mark's brother and sister in law were in town and this is one of the places they wanted to see. They couldn't of picked a nicer weekend to come up.
