Shelby spent the day with Riley at Whale's Tail water park. This is a photo she took with her phone. It was not the best of days weather wise, though I am sure she had fun.

More clothes shopping today...no luck. She has enough to start the school year. A few more shirts and another pair of shoes/boots.

Mark detailing his truck...it's always someone elses vehicle that he is working on.

After waiting all week to see if either boy would cut the lawn Mark ending up doing it. Some weeks the boys just do it and other weeks they're too busy sitting around, I guess.

Getting rid of the 2nd bees nest of the day (the 1st one was at the shed). When Mark lifted up the shutter and that next fell out I screamed because for some unknown reason I thought it was a rat...don't ask. If you look you can see Matthew laughing in the doorway.

Shelby has reading The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. Lots of reading...each book is 500 pages, give or take.

Shopping for school clothes....no, we didn't buy this. It does look nice with her shorts, huh?

Just have to add the ribbon for hanging. I cut and stamped 400 pieces to make these. I have to say it was a lot of work. Because I did it over time it wasn't as bad as it sounds. Hope the girls at work like them.

Went on a hike to see this....Arethusa Falls. This picture does not do it justice. It was not an easy hike for me and I was kinda miserable on the way up but was it worth the trip. Glad I stuck it out to the end.

Rained all day...no six flags. Instead we bought all of Shelby's school supplies. Fun...not!

Out to dinner....lounged all day from late night at drive in. This is the only activity Matthew was able to do with us all week. The boys' jobs have gotten in the way of hanging out with family.

Shelby, Grace, Mark and I went to the Milford Drive-In to see Wolverine and The Heat. We sat in lawn chairs in the back of the truck with blankets and ate popcorn that Mark popped on the stove. It was a late night...didn't get home until 1:30am.

Shelby and I went to get our hair done today....Shelby had her hair "thinned" and no cut. She is going to try and grow her hair longer. I, on the other hand, had a bug up my butt to do something different and ended up with a hair cut that is too short...glad my hair will grow.

Matthew hiking again...Garret, Chuck and Matthew did the "Lafayette Loop". It consists of 3 mountains Little Haystack Mt.(4760 ft), Mt. Lincoln (5089 ft) and Mt. Lafayette (5262 feet).
