october 29

Love my kids....Poor Kayla.

october 28

All of Shelby's running bibs.  Front and center, states.  We have truly enjoyed watching the cross country team.  I hope that she runs again.

october 27

Working on parking brake, backing plate and new brakes.

october 26

Matthew did the Making Strides walk with Kayla and all these lovely ladies.  He had a good time.  There group was called Tig ol' Bitties......

october 25

Shelby ran in states this morning.  We are so proud of her.  She has come a long way.  Out of the 7 girls that made states she was 1 of the 2 freshman.

Homecoming...she cleans up really well.

october 24

Pep Rally day...all fall sports put on a skit for the rally.  Here's a few of the 'gangsters'.

There was also the Friday Night Football game and bonfire.  Busy little bee my daughter is!

october 22

Snowflakes for my Christmas cards are done.

october 21

Tacky Tuesday @ school for spirit week.

Schedule for the week, Monday-red, white & blue, Wednesday-wear pink for breast cancer, Thursday-formal dress up day, Friday-dress in your grade color (9th grade-gray).

Shelby participated in all activities, though her lame mother did not take pictures.

october 20

Almost done...music paper and glitter glass all modge podged on.  Just have to make the tags.
FYI...glass glitter will stick in your skin and cause you to bleed,
don't ask me how I know.

october 19

Looking for shoes for the homecoming.

october 18

First time Shelby has cut grass.  She started off a little rough but by the time she was half way done with the front yard she looked like she'd always been doing it.  She said that she liked cutting it.

october 17

Made cards for one of my sister's friends.  She lost her mother a couple years ago.  When I found out one of her mom's favorite sayings was 'I don't give a rat's ass' I decided to make one for her and a few extras that she could use herself.

***as of today 10/29/2014 Dawn has not received these cards...I guess they're lost in the mail.  I hope they show up.

october 16

Messing with the camera settings.....I like the last one best.

october 15

I had this visitor while putting the pond to bed for the winter.

october 14

Mark went to the doctor's for his back today.  He is out of work for the remainder of this week and will be on light duty next week.

october 13

Shopping for a homecoming dress.

october 12

Mark's back was killing him but he was insistent that the acorns get picked up.  They got a lot of them, still more to go.  Already started to root.

Bonfire at Brittney's house for girls cross country.  A few girls couldn't make it but the rest had a good time.

october 11

Shelby qualified for states....That is her coach cheering her on.  She had her PR time.  Yay!

october 10

october 07

Making Christmas ornaments  for the girls at work.

october 06

Running errands....and a trip to a couple craft stores.

october 05

Took down the fall stuff.

october 04

CC in the rain.  Matthew came with me to cheer Shelby on. She did pretty good, though she did have cramps.

Seeing that Matthew is out of work because of his wrist I took the 3 of us out to dinner.  Was nice to spend time together.  He is very rarely around anymore.

october 03

The cross country sweatsuit came in.  The team picked up the tab for the jackets and gave each person $10 towards the pants.

Mark met 3 of his brothers in Reading, PA for the drag races for the weekend.  He had a good time, though he hurt his back when a chair he was sitting in collapsed.

october 02

Matthew had surgery to remove his ganglion cyst from his wrist.  The doctor told him that it was about golf ball size.  Hopefully it won't come back!

october 01

Matthew brought me cider donuts....1st time I've ever had one.  I heated it in the microwave to warm it.  It was good.

september 30

Acorns are bad this year.

september 29

Finally paint.  He put the tarp up so that it keeps out leaves and rain.  It's a bit lighter than the siding but who cares?  It was grey....

september 28

Matthew's 20th birthday.  Lasagna and apple pie.

september 27

Shelby shaved about 2 minutes off her time.  This was the 1st course she ran so it was good to see the difference in time.  Lots of hills.

september 25

Matthew and Kayla at the Deerfield Fair.

september 24

Well....Mark fixed the printer.  I haven't like this from the start so looking forward to getting a new one.

september 23

Craving pumpkin.  This was delish! It had pumpkin, yellow cake mix and walnuts.

september 22

Mark taking a look see at the printer....it stopped feeding paper.

september 21

Matthew sent me this picture of him and Kayla hanging out with Sam Adams at work.

september 20

Sanding the bulkhead.  Time to repaint.  It has been far too long.

september 19

Matthew and Kayla went apple picking for us.

Spaghetti dinner for the cross country team.

september 18

Donation to Goodwill.  I still have odds and ends in the basement and have to organize but I am making headway.

September 17

Guess who?  Just having fun at Walmart.

september 16

Messing around with my camera.

september 15

Had lunch with Sherry.  Brought her a trunk full of paper and miscellaneous craft stuff for her and Natalee.

September 14

Soup Sundays have started....this week, Chicken Stew.  Will not be making it again.  It had hominy in it.  It was weird tasting.
