Kitty watching Michael snow blow the driveway, AGAIN! We probably ended up with 8" of snow. I think we're suppose to get more tomorrow...

What a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I think they look fabulous in my new pitcher. They bring a feeling of spring on another snow day! Today marks 4 years of being a non-smoker and what would have been my sister's 41st birthday.

Finishing up the month of January on my Project Life. All of my journaling is done. I've implemented a lot of suggestions that my friend, Chris gave me. It's really because of her that I'm doing this. The longer I do this, the more I enjoy it. Much easier than scrapbooking.

I went to HomeGoods to buy Olive Oil.....and ended up with all this.
My favorite purchase was the lemons, every one wanted to know what
I was going to do make with them. They really do look real.

Get off the road.....I finally let Matthew out of our little town. It's very scary to let him go. Can you see the smile on his face?

Shelby wanted to go to the mall today. While we were there she bought a few things at Claire's. A ring, necklace, and what I call mini "hooker hoops". I caved because they're hearts and so very cute!

This is our local weekly paper, The Hudson/Litchfield News. It carries local news but the best part is the Thumbs Up? Thumbs Down? Column. This is where people can write in anonymously. Mark and I get quite the laugh sometimes by what people write about for their Thumbs Down? For a while a lot of people where complaining about wood stoves and how they smell. Hello....you live in New England.

Made French Onion Soup for supper. It was okay. It definitely looks better than it tasted. If I was to make it again I would use a different recipe.

Report cards were sent home. All 3 of the kids did very well. I'm very proud of them. Michael has all the credits he needs to graduate, though he'll be going to school until June. Matthew maintained his 3.63 gpa and Shelby received straight A's for the second time this year.

Marty McFly, aka, Kitty, Wacko Jacko, or Nutso gets treats every morning from Mark. I don't normally give him any treats. Though with Mark away I couldn't resist the look that Kitty was giving and I had to give him some.

Dropped Mark off at the Airport, today. He'll be going to school in Norman, Oklahoma for a couple weeks. I'm hoping it will be an uneventful two weeks. Fingers crossed.

Boo Hoo! Steelers lost the Super Bowl. Sad night in our house. I guess a 7th win was not in the cards for us this year! The Steelers had a great season and we'll see them next year!

Shelby had her last play off game of the Travel Basketball season. Boo! They lost. It was a tough season for the team. She's looking at playing AAU, which will help her improve her game.

YAY!! Project Life came today! I am so excited to get started. Though, it will have to wait until next week for me to put the album together. I had all of January's pictures developed today, also, so I'm all set.

Shelby counting on her fingers doing her math homework. She tells me that her teacher taught her a "trick" for multiplying 9. Sure... She is in 5th grade this year and not once have I had to remind her that she needs to do her homework.
