Brought Michael to the Urgent Care so he could get stitches...ONLY 4! I say that because over the years he's had as many as 13 on two different occasions...

Shelby had her first tournament as a Lady Spartan. They lost 3 out of the 4 games, but played really well as a team. For only practicing twice as a team they played pretty good together.

I went to the dreaded Wal-Mart today. Can I say how much I hate this store and today gave me one more reason not to return! The cashier was one of the most incompetent ones so far. She told me I had to sign my check (they give it back), which I didn't and then I was walking out to my car looking over my receipt and she charged me 10 times for 1 bag of doritos! If I could of rung that bitty's bell, I would have!

Slowly I'm seeing more and more of my pond. I didn't get a look at Hank and Lucy (our fish) but I did see a live frog so that gives me hope that the fish made it through another winter. Lucy has been around for about 9 years, she's a regular goldfish and Hank we've had I think for 2 years, he's a koi.

Shelby had to go see Dr. Myers today. He has been my kids pediatrician since we moved here 14 years ago. He's wonderful, he actually uses my family as an example of what to do when a child is lost in a store....

People from King Arthur Flour came into Shelby's school on Friday and explained how to make bread and about their program, "King Arthur Flour Life Skills Bread Baking" program. Bake 2 loaves...eat 1 and bring the other back to school to be donated to a local food pantry. This turned out pretty good. We ate our loaf with supper.
