Michael trying to explain why he didn't call me all day. He texted me saying he wouldn't be coming home on Friday night. Okay....BUT I didn't hear from him all day today....Frustrating. I wasn't worried just annoyed that he's only thinking of himself!

Shelby's room is all painted. She loves it! Next is a custom desk for the dormer area. I might attempt curtains. We were thinking a gray one on the purple wall and a purple on the gray wall....

We picked up Matthew's glasses today. He can wear them all the time, though he only needs them when he drives. His depth perception is off in his right eye.

Shelby missed practice tonight so she could attend try outs for the Lady Spartans AAU team. Mark said she did well. We'll see.

Picking out paint for Shelby's room, it will be velvet beret (purple) walls with sparrow (gray) ceiling and dormer walls. It matches her comforter set pretty well.

This is how the front door area always looks except for the day I vacuum. Believe it or not the majority of the shoes (6 pairs) belong to Michael, the backpacks and 1 pair of shoes belong to Shelby. Matthew, Mark or I own anything on the floor.

Snow day today. Our town is implementing a new program for snow days this year. They sent home 3 "blizzard bags" of school work. If 80% of the students to the work the district won't have to make up the day. Mind you, this is our 5th day of missed school this year. First day was called off because of a tropical storm and 3 were missed with the freak snow in October. One of the 4 missed days will be made up on President's Day and the rest I'm not sure of.

Michael cooked the family dinner. Wine braised chicken with shallots and pancetta and White wine smashed potatoes. It was pretty good.

Finished the decoration/gift for my coworkers daughter's baby shower. I love how this came out. There is a bunch of diapers rolled and the baby is inside of them.

Red punch buggy, no punch backs! This is the game Shelby and I play. We have a lot of fun with it. I'm surprised that I've never crashed trying to punch Shelby...such a good mom :)

She did it again! Another 8 points...I hope she keeps it up. Three of her baskets were made during the 4th quarter and brought her team ahead...but in the end they lost by 1 point. Overall, the girls are looking so much better than last year. Alot can be said for a good coach.

My girl scored 8 points today, 1/3 of the teams points. So proud...she's looking good.
