Rough day! 2 games today and 2 big loses! Shelby held her own. She is playing on a 7th grade team. She actually scored in both games. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Michael's "fancy" dinner...eggplant osso buco with polenta and mushroom bolognese. We will not be having this again! Though I have to say 3 out of the 4 of us liked the polenta and mushroom bolgnese. None of us liked the eggplant. It's always fun to try something new, especially when I'm not cooking :)

Drove to Maine to spend the day with Chris. Had a fantastic time, though it went by too fast.

Michael's afghan. Not loving these colors at all! I really like the way it's coming together. I think I might try this one again in a different color. It going fast because I'm using a very large needle and double yarn.

Went to see the Hunger Games with friends of ours. The movie was good and I would love to see it again, though the book had much more detail (as usual).

We made it to the semi-finals in travel bb and ....lost :( The score was 27-24. It was such an awesome season! Not because of where we ended up but because of where we came from. It was so fun watching the girls grow as a team. They still have a ways to go but next year's season should be better yet.

Do you know how hard it is to get 3 girls ready for a game? Glad I don't have to do it on a regular basis. Proud mama here, She did it again! We were down 2 points and the Shelbster scored the basket to tie the game AND THEN she made the basket to win the game! Our next playoff game will be on Saturday...

It was 79* today so Mark took the bike out for it's first ride of the season with the girl. Can you tell Mark loves his picture taken?

Shelby changed the sleep mode on the computer to an aquarium background. Scared the heck out of us because it also has a water sound so we were thinking something was leaking.

Shelby's first practice with the Rockettes. Can you say BOOT CAMP! It was the hardest practice that she has ever had in the 4 years that she's been playing. They did drill after drill after drill for 90 minutes. We'll see how things progress.

A.C. Moore had yarn on sale and a 20% off everything from 6-9pm so I picked up the yarn for Michael's afghan. Should be able to finish Shelby's this week and then I'll start Michael's.

Was able to open the windows today. Kitty went from the window to the open door where the sun was shining in.

Mark moved our bedroom to the rec room so that he can paint, add a closet and put new carpet in the master bedroom. I might like it over here, it has it's own bathroom.
