Watched Lola for my neighbor.  This is her "what the f do you want" look.  She greeted me with a hiss, as usual.  Doesn't she know that I mean no harm?!??

Black Eyed Susan's came back...as much as I like these flowers I pulled all of them out a few years ago because of mold.  They're looking good so far even with all the rain we've had.

Found Shelby on the porch eating sunflower seeds and reading.

We had 2 swallowtail butterflies hanging out at the coneflowers.  Pretty.

Spent the day in York, Maine.  One of the Rockette families owns a beach house and invited the team up.  It turned out to be a wonderful, fun, relaxing day.  Love these people.  After a day at the beach we took a ride up for ice cream and stopped to see the Nubble (Cape Neddick) lighthouse.

More of the fence is gone...have one side left.  I need to find a bush/tree that is fast growing that we can plant on the side that we still have the fence up.  You can see into our neighbors yard and I would rather have it private like the rest of our backyard.

It was 100 degrees but my car needed a bath before all the bugs from driving on the highway became a permanent fixture on the paint.

Shelby's 1st game in 6 weeks.  She was a little winded.  It was a little scary at first but really it was good to see her out there.

Walked around Mystic Village with the girls before heading home.  Even after all these years it is basically the same, very minor changes.

Shelby, Grace and I headed to CT to visit family and friends and to watch the fireworks.  It was so foggy that this was the best we could see, anything higher and it was lost in all the fog and after a while so were the lower ones because of all the smoke.

On a side note, I got my 1st speeding ticket...

Another doctor's appointment.  We drove to Lebanon to see a pediatric electrophysiologist (specialist for the "electrical system" of the heart).  Shelby will have to have the catheterization done...sometime in the next few months.  Good news is the doctor said that she could play basketball.  YAY!  He said she had a better chance of being in a car accident than of dropping on the bb court.

Matthew and Mark went and saw BB King at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom with the free ticket I won from our local radio station.  I asked Matthew how he liked the concert...."He's old, mom".  Matthew is glad that he got to see him and Mark is happy that he didn't have to pay  :)

Making Christmas ornaments for the girls at work.  Started now because each one takes 40 images that are stamped and then ran through the bigkick...what was I thinking??!

Shelby and Lauren in the pool in the rain...Lauren kept Shelby company while we were at the concert sunday night.  With no adults home they were not able to swim so they went in today.  It probably rained for the 1st hour and then it became sunny/cloudy for the remainder that they were in.

Saw the Zac Brown Band in concert at Meadowbrook.  They put on a fantastic show, played for over 2 hours.  Mark enjoyed the show and he isn't a "country music" fan.  We went up with Mark's friend, John and his wife, though we bumped into a few more people that we knew.  I would definitely go see them again.

This is my batch of chocolate chip cookies...they have walnuts in them and no one likes them except for Matthew and I.  Cookies without nuts....well, that's just nuts!  :)

Happy 4th!  We hung out at the house.  Shelby and Matthew played frisbee and went in the pool along with Mark.
