I put out the rest of the Christmas decorations....this is my sister's handwriting. It makes me happy and sad all at the same time. This used to be a box that she stored her chocolate molds in. I use it for decorations.

Came home from work and Mark and Shelby started decorating the house for Christmas. Mark even dug out my Christmas village and put it on top of our kitchen cabinets. Looks good up there. This is only part of it. I couldn't get a decent picture of the whole village.

Thanksgiving...getting our grub on. Once again, just us and my dad. Well, Michael was sleeping so he didn't join us but I did make him a plate of leftovers which he ate before he left for work.

Soup Sunday. I have made soup every Sunday since the beginning of September. This is torilla soup and we have had this one 3 or 4 times. It is that good. One of our other favorites is Italian Wedding Soup. So, so good.
Shelby and I went to the movies and saw The Hunger Games Catching Fire. We both loved it. We also went shopping once again. She needed shoes. Thankfully, we found a pair she liked.

Had some white out conditions tonight. Mark was helping a friend move and he said it was tough to see. I am so not looking forward to this winter. I want to move somewhere warm.

These were waiting for me when I got home from work. My mom sent me flowers for my birthday. Mark took me out to dinner at the Homestead.

1st game of the season. Let's just say this team needs more practice together. They only had 5 practices together so hopefully they'll do better next game.

Michael's parking ticket came in the mail today. For letting the meter run out it will cost him $10.
Note: Michael didn't pay in a timely manner so he ended up paying $20.

Chris made the ride to NH to deliver my birthday gift. She made me a beautiful burlap wreath. I have so much fun when we get together.

Shelby got her school basketball uniform today...she was able to secure the #21 that she has worn for the last 5 years with both her other teams.

Out to dinner for Terry's retirement party. From left to right Cheryl, Karen and Rachel. I had a mudslide for the 1st time...it was yummy!

Mark testing out his new leaf blower that came in the mail from my mom. Who would've thought it would be delivered on a holiday? Oh, well just a little early.

Team building project. Each girl had to pick a name of one of their teammates and make a poster with that girls name along with 2 positive things to say. Each week they will add a word to the poster.

Rachel and I went to a local craft fair and once again no picture of us. I love my new santa.

Shelby made the middle school basketball team. It was 3 nights of try outs. We are very proud that she achieved her goal.

Matthew cut his finger at work. At first he told me that he cut it off...I freaked. He cut it within the 1st 1/2 hour at work. Bandaged it up and kept on working.
