The library had a 'laser' set up in the teen area. I didn't have my camera so Mrs. Robinson, the librarian took this picture for me.

We had smoked pork chops. Shelby ate a whole one, first time ever that she ate an entire pork chop. Mark smoked them for 20 minutes and then finished cooking them on the grill.

Matthew left a pen in his work clothes....needless to say I was a little....okay, a lot angry when I opened up the dryer and found this. I tried several different things to get it out. None really worked. Matthew ended up using a magic eraser, acetone and a lot of elbow grease. He did get most of the ink off the dryer.
july 27
Shelby was invited to play in a basketball tournament with the high school varsity team. We didn't do that well, though, in our defense we were playing against Division I teams. We are a small town, Division III school.

july 26
Mark and I went to check out a new shop, Bittersweet Blessings. It was in an old farmhouse.....with rambling rooms and staircases. At one time it was part of a college and before that it was part of the underground railroad. Pretty cool.
We had the first corn of the season. It's summer now.
july 25
Mark got this smoker for Christmas....first time he has used it. He made beef jerky. All 5lbs fit in it at once, which is nice because with the old one he had to do it in 3 batches.
july 24
My new camera....the zoom lens on my Sony is going. I narrowed down my choices to this and another Sony. This won out because it was bigger than the new Sony but still smaller than the old one. Hopefully I will like it.
july 23
Hahaha! He actually posed for me...though it was one and he was done. Glad the picture came out. Matthew had some running around to do and asked me if I would go with him. Of course, I said yes. We went to a few stores and then he treated us to coolatta's at Dunkins.
july 22
Spent the day at Hampton Beach. It was a nice, relaxing day. The girls spent a lot of time on the boogie boards.
july 21
Mark, Shelby and I spent the day in Portsmouth. What a cute city. We ate at the Portsmouth Brewery and it alone was worth the trip.
Matthew and Kayla spent the day at Six Flags New England. They had a good time.
july 17
One of my member's brought me in seedless (english) cucumbers and zucchini. YUM! I am going to ask her where she got the seeds for the cucumbers, I would like to have Matthew grow these next year.
july 15
Matthew has been looking for a desk and Mark found one at the dump. He's tightening things down. I told Matthew if he didn't want it that I will take if for my BigKick and Vagabond.
july 14
This is embarrassing..I have been in a funk with my crafting and card making. I decided that I needed to clean and purge. I am going through E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. piece by piece. I still have stuff from my sister. I spent 12 hours going through things. I know it won't be done overnight but it will be done.....I have at least a few more hours left.
july 11
With the walkway finished I found a home for my vintage metal chairs. My mother got them from and friend and gave me these two, which have been sitting in the shed for the last few years. Mark said he'd paint them but I love them just the way they are.
july 10
Shelby went to the Van's Warped Tour with Riley. She had a blast but was not able to go into the crowds under the watchful eyes of Riley's parents. The is one of many bands she saw.
july 09
Matthew cut the lawn and when he put the mower back he locked the shed key inside....it was the only one. We have about 10 master key locks, all have 2 keys except for this lock. Mark took the hinges off the door and got the key. He changed locks so now we have a spare :)
july 04
Happy 4th of July. Shelby spent the day at Old Orchard Beach with Toni and her parents. It rained on and off but didn't pour like in NH. Mark and I hung out and relaxed, Matthew had to work.
