Mark came with me to buy mums. I got this big one for my wheelbarrow and 2 other 'mystery color' ones for the steps. I didn't want to be told what the color was...none of the mums in that row were blooming and the salesgirl assured me that they weren't yellow so I'll be surprised.

Shelby is cleaning out her closet. You could not step one foot it it, seriously. In doing so, she came across her spongebob legos. I am separating them by set and then will put them in storage.

Shelby & Grace at Grace's bus stop for freshman orientation. They had a shorter schedule than normal and had a picnic lunch after.

Shelby jumped in the pool with her clothes on from cross country,it was hot....she ended up in her shorts and sports bra.

Matthew was heading to the airport to pick up Kayla....she's been in Canada for 2 weeks. He was a happy young man. Didn't see him for 2 days.

Shelby running in her 1st CC meet, ever! She is running in the 'A' group. She completed 2.1 miles in 19:57. From my understanding this is one of the harder courses because of the hills. I am excited to see her improve over the season. She's come a long way from last year and her 'heart procedure'. We are so proud of her.

Had a night out at the Cheesecake Factory in Burlington, MA. We enjoyed the night with Lisa and Doug. We ended up back at our house playing pool.

Not only has Matthew missed picking this pickling cucumber so did I. It was hidden under leaves.

What we thought was a bean plant that had reseeded itself from last year turned out to be a morning glory plant.

School shopping. More rules have been added to the school dress code. I believe Shelby will be sent to the office. We'll see.

Breakfast with a few people from high school. We ate at a deli that one of our classmate owns with her brother. Good thing we knew her! We were so loud, laughing it up. It was a very fun weekend. I was totally exhausted. I drove straight home and got in my jammies and vegged out.

Sue and I at the Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine. We have been friends since we were 8 years old. She came up for our high school reunion.
