While I was picking up an ultrasound copy for a doctor's appointment I asked if I could make an appointment to get my mammogram done.  She said that she had an appointment right then, so I had it done.

Kayla made a cake for Mark for working on her car.  Such a sweet girl.  It was yummy!

Shelby had her 2nd try out for AAU basketball.  While driving home the roads were a sheet of ice.  I actually got stuck on a hill because a van got stuck with 3 cars behind it.  I really thought that I was going to get hit by the car behind me.  We called Mark, who was coming to rescue us but a plow came by and dropped salt/sand and I was able to get enough traction, thank God!

I believe Lola knew her family was coming home today.

Garrett was able to stop by while on break from school.  It was so good to hear the laughter coming from the TV room while they played a video game.

Another basketball game.  She plays 2 games a week and has 3 practices.

Shelby had try outs for AAU basketball in the early afternoon and the she had her nails done with a friend.

We are watching our neighbor's cat, Lola.  Lola does not like people...you can tell she is getting lonely (she's been by herself for 3 days) because she is letting us get near her.

There was a 2 hour delay because of the temperature.  We started the day at -5.  It had only made it to 0* when I dropped off Shelby.

I checked the school's website for where the basketball game was and I spotted Grace and Shelby on their website.

They made a trip to Tuft's Floating Hospital for Children, brought gifts and toured the hospital in Boston.

Shelby, Mark and I went to Portsmouth so I could return the necklace that Matthew and Shelby got me for Christmas (it was from Alex & Ani).  I exchanged it for 2 bracelets.  

We did a little walking around because it was cold.  We ate a Fat Belly's, best California burger, ever.  I love this little city.
