Shelby off to Grace's house. They went to the movies and saw Saving Mr. Banks. Shelby said it was a good movie.

Woke up to this video that Matthew posted on my facebook page. It's Rod Stewart's "Have I told you lately?" He made me cry....happy tears. Love that young man...he has a heart of gold, unless I want him to take a laundry basket downstairs :)

Left this basket of dirty clothes at the top of the cellar stairs....Matthew's clothes are always on the dryer so he goes downstairs every single day....he pushed it out of the way. Yes, he did! Shelby ended bringing it down when she got home from school. Geesh....next time I will put a more detailed note.

Matthew grilling steak tips. Matthew volunteered....Mark and I didn't want to go out because it was so cold. When I make my menu it seems I am always picking the coldest days of the week to grill out. Yes, that makes my hubby happy.

Picking Shelby up from basketball practice. She has it every day after school...I usually do it Monday and Tuesday while Matthew will do it the rest of the week when she doesn't have games. He is such a big help!

Shelby playing in her red uniform with a pinny on. She is the only member of the team that didn't get a new uniform, which means her's cannot be turned inside out. I refused to pay $75 for a new one for just this year. On a good note she played really well!

Judy's candles....they have been sitting on my dresser for almost 13 years and you can still smell them. I have candles less than a year old that have no smell anymore. Things that make you say ummm.

Picked up a steak bomb calzone and buffalo chicken pizza from Johnny Troy's on my way home from work. Very good!

No more aspirin for Shelby. After her heart procedure she was instructed to take one every day to keep her blood thin. She also skipped her teeth cleaning because she would have had to take an antibiotic because of the procedure. Next month she'll get the cleaning.

It has been so cold lately that I've been driving Shelby to the bus stop. Today was my late day at work so I drove her to school.

Matthew dug out the chess board once again. He also downloaded an app for his cell phone which he had Shelby do so that they could play together. Me, I don't understand how to play...

We were suppose to get just a dusting today....well about 8" later Matthew, Shelby and Mark made this igloo. Matthew is inside digging it out. Hopefully it will get dug out before the frigid temperatures come back.

We went to Lauren's varsity game at Memorial. WOW!! Can these girls play....#10 is the point guard and is one of the most entertaining players I have watched. Loved seeing the Bisson's.

Didn't have anything on the menu for supper so Shelby stepped up and made us scrambled eggs.

Shelby had an awesome game....played very well defensively and she put up 8 points for the offence! Of course, I was working but Mark was able to make the game.

So proud of myself! I put my email on my phone. Showed up at school today for a basketball game only to find out it was cancelled via email and wouldn't let the girls call their parents...well I don't check my email regularly so I never got it. I will now.

Matthew's wipers got stuck in the upright position because he turned them on to clear snow. When he did that he bent something inside the wiper motor. Mark looked the problem up on the internet and fixed it!

Riley came and spent the afternoon with Shelby. Here they are playing Just Dance 4.
It was very cold today...we started off at -10 with a high right around 0.

Roads are still a mess from yesterday....I don't mind driving when it's like this unless other people are on the road with me. The older I get the more I worry how other people are driving.
