Michael's afghan is complete!  Why I didn't finish it 2 years ago is beyond me but it is 100% done and ready to surprise him for his birthday in May.

Today is opening day of baseball!  Yay!!  It's been a long winter, ready to enjoy the boys' of summer.

march 30

Surprise, surprise!  I woke up knowing that I would have to fold Mark's work shirts but Matthew did it!  I was very appreciative.

Mark put the 1st coat of paint on my dad's wheelbarrow.  Not the color I would pick but it's what my dad wanted.

march 29

Let the new AAU season begin.....love the new uniforms, got rid of most of the purple.  Shelby is loving playing with her contacts.

march 28

More progress on the wheelbarrow.

march 25

Loaded the silhouette on my new computer along with recovering all of my images.  Now I just need to figure out how to recover the DE edition.

march 24

Sunset in Manchester.  Dropped Shelby off at practice.

march 23

Shelby met Lydia at the movies to watch Divergent.  Shelby read the book series.  Though, she said the movie wasn't even close to the books but was good.

march 22

Matthew, Dan and Dan got out their bikes for old times' sake and rode to Haley's, the local pizza joint and had a pizza.  When they first left it was snowing.....

march 21

Progress, starting to look like a wheelbarrow now.

march 20

Ewwww!  Can you tell which one is the old one??!  So very gross.  She has been using the blue one for about a year.  Why oh Why does she have to chew on it?

march 19

Mark working on a reproduction wheelbarrow for my dad.  My dad's wheelbarrow rotted away so he brought it up for Mark to take measurements and to use the original wheel.

march 17

First practice of the AAU season.  Looking forward to another great season with the Rockettes!

march 16

Litchfield won,  41-35!!  It was a great game.  Two evenly matched teams, basket for basket.  It was a nail biter.  First time in 5 years of playing travel that we ever made it this far.  Shelby has been improving with each game.  We've decided that the contacts are working very well for her  :)

march 15

Mark washed both vehicles today.

Shelby's team won the semi-final basketball game.  On to the final game tomorrow night.

march 14

Michael stopped by.  My oldest and youngest.  Matthew seems to always be at work when the boy stops by.

march 13

Been working on Michael's afghan once again.  I'm not sure if I started it 1 or 2 years ago....I am determined to have it done for his birthday at the end of May.

march 12

Finally bought a new computer.....and I like the old one better.

march 11

New hair do for the Shelbster.  I really like the color.

march 10

I am determined to stay on track with this years project life while still playing catch up with the last couple years.  Even if the pictures are not developed I will still journal.  Almost done with the month of February.

march 09

Mark was asked to be the time keeper for Shelby's playoff game.  Not his favorite thing to do...hard to watch the girls play while trying to keep accurate time.  The girls played very well...we won 45-5.  On to the next one which will be in a week.

march 08

My dad brought up this banjo (from the 1960's) for Matthew in November.  He bought it from an antique shop and cleaned it up for him. Matthew then took it to a local shop and had it tuned up and a couple things done to it and now it's good to go.

Shelby's 1st playoff game was today.  We won 41-32.  Tomorrow game 2.

march 07

Off to the dance...

march 06

Making her lunch....8 years in the school system and she still packs her lunch every. single. day!   Not too often does she eat what the school is serving.  She's excited about next year at the high school because they have microwaves for students to use.

march 05

Shelby returning from the winter sports awards.  The school handed out certificates along with serving cake to both the girls and boys basketball teams.

march 04

Shelby wouldn't stand still so I could take a picture with her wearing her contacts.  She did alright putting them in.

march 03

That time of year, again.  Shelby and I had our annual eye exams.  Shelby chose to get contacts this year.  She walked out of the doctor's office in contacts and said how weird it felt not having glasses on.

march 02

Making birthday cards.  It felt really good hanging out in my craft room.  It's been a while.

march 01

Making my weekly menu along with my grocery list.  I try and make a menu every week...it doesn't always work out, but I try.
